North Coal has a strong commitment to include all interested parties in the consultation process to find the most acceptable outcome of the Michel Coal Project for everyone involved.
The Ktunaxa Nation, provincial and federal governments, communities, user groups, and other stakeholders will be engaged throughout all stages of project planning, regulatory review and construction to learn about the project, identify issues and provide input with the goal of enhancing planning and development.
All parties will be provided information to keep them fully informed about the Project and have convenient and accessible mechanisms to provide valuable input. North Coal will hold engagement events such as working sessions on specific topics and plans.
Public and government engagement and participation is fundamental to the Environmental Assessment. All consultations will be well advertised, well informed, tracked, reported on and documented for government and public review. If you would like to be included in the consultation process please register your information here
